Alchemist Mutagens

Rules Questions

1. Can someone please explain the uses of the "Infuse Mutagen" Discovery? Does it allow you to share your mutagens with your party members just like Infusion does for extracts or is it limited to just allowing you to hold multiple mutagens at once?

2. A question for DMs: would you allow your players to use the True Mutagen Grand Discovery for Cognatogens instead of Mutagens?

Thanks,
Cratai

Infuse Mutagen does not allow you to share your mutagens, it simply allows you to have multiple prepared at once.

For the second question, I don't see why not, as Cognatogens are considered equivalent to Mutagens for pretty much everything else.

1. You can have multiple mutagens prepared
you can't share them with your party, but so you can quickly choose between more strength or more dex or whatever.
2. Sure, not that I GMed such a high level, bt it is very reasonable. It's weird that UM and UC didn't give new grand discoveries.

Ok thanks for your help. Is there no way to share muta/cognatogens then?

The Oenopion Reasearcher alchemist archetype (from Inner Sea Magic) has an ability called Experimental Mutagen that allows them to share their mutagen with somebody else, but with only half the usual effects.
