Pathfinder & Pathfinder Tales Characters

Pathfinder First Edition General Discussion

Hola! I've been reading the Pathfinder Tales novels and really dig what I've read so far. However, I was curious ... will we ever see the stats for some of the heroes of the books? Or maybe some of the significant background characters? I heard that Inner Sea Magic had levels for Varian Jeggare, but no stats (as well as having Riffle Scrolls, yay!).

Radovan was statted up in a semi-recent issue of Kobold Quarterly. I'm certain many of the characters will appear in stat form eventually, but we don't have any immediate plans to do so.

Radovan stats at CL7 (CG Rog5/Mnk2) were in KQ#14. The article by James Sutter also had a few magic items. I believe it fit in just before Prince of Wolves.

Incidentally, I hear the Inner Sea Guide to magic will include rules for Varian's riffle scrolls, and I wouldn't be surprised to find more stats on things he encounters in Master of Devils appearing in upcoming Tian Xia products.

Thanks for the head's up, Erik! I'll have to take a look around for that issue :)

Thanael, thanks for the thumbnail of Radovan's stats ... wow, a Monk? I would've never thought from the book. I had heard about the Riffle Scrolls, and ISM is on the top of my Pathfinder wish list :) In fact, I would've ordered it, but they didn't have it in stock when I got my copy of Ultimate Combat over at Amazon ...

Well actually I also found the monk bit astonishing. Not only because he's chaotic. You can certainly build him as a Rog 7 too and still represent his abilites revealed in Prince of Wolves. But with Master of Devils of course the monk levels become more important.

Yeah, Radovan doesn't strike me as the disciplined type as awesome as he is. Still, the abilities and style of the Monk fit well with his "up close and personal" approach to combat. Maybe he's a Martial Artist from Advanced Combat?

Well the new book has several scenes where it's all about ki for Radovan. Sill havn't seen the Martial artist, but i think it loses ki, right?
