I did a search but did not find my question.. Can skeletons run as player characters can? What I mean is, can they increase their movement and stay with a player that has the same movement of 30ft? Also, since it's not listed under their offensive section, can they climb or swim?
I would see since they have no movement restrictions that yes they can run. However for swimming I will say no. they are bones and water current will sweep them away unless they hold onto rocks and simply walk across. Now climb, yes they can climb, dig etc.

Nothing says they can't. Skeleton is a template added to any corporal creature that possesses a skeleton, so if the base creature was capable of running, so can the skeleton.
As for climbing, they have hands and feet, do they not? Climb and swim speeds are seperate from the ability to do those actions. If they have a climb or swim speed, they can climb or swim without needing checks at the indicated speed. If a creature lacks a climb or swim speed (like all base PC races), then they must make Athletics checks, going by the speed listed in the skill.
Houserule I'd say a skeleton doesn't have the surface area or buoyancy to be able to swim, but RAW nothing stops them.
