I have never had to roleplay as a Pathfinder elf before, and to me they seem vastly different than typical D&D or even Tolkien elves. Can anyone suggest some TV or Movie characters that really closely capture the proper attitude and personality of a typical Pathfinder elf?
It's hard to say there is a "proper" attitude or personality to begin with. If you mean the elves of Golarion, btw (pathfinder is just a system - you can easily use it to play an elf in Eberron, FR, or elsewhere), I'd say the big difference is going to come from whether the elf's background - whether they are born in Kyonin, the major elf realm, an elf group elsewhere, or as one of the "forlorn", raised in societies dominated by the other, short-lived races (although the case of elf raised among dwarves would probably be an interesting one).
The personality will likely be determined by two things - an elf's natural abilities and where, how and with whom they were raised. Add in a dash of personal quirks, beliefs and other experiences, and I'd say you'd do fine. I wouldn't say elves in Golarion would be that much different from the "typical" D&D elf (whatever that means), except possibly that the majority of them would be CN rather than CG. Then again, many adventurers play CG that way anyway :D , and there's no saying you have to abide by the racial stereotypes.

I guess I need to clarify.
Yes I am speaking of Golarion elves.
I am looking for examples in the media (TV and Movies) of characters with the Chaotic Neutral, aloof/superior/capriciousness that Golarion elves seem to have.
Any help appreciated.
Titania, Oberon, and their court from the Sandman, only a bit closer to Tolkien elves.
How does that sound.
