We are not "racist," the correct term is "speciesist" (or should that be "specious?"); halflings, gnomes, and goblins do not appear to be interfertile with humans, and thus should not be considered races of humanity. As for orcs and ogres, well...look over there! It's the Winged Victory of Samothrace!

Gnomes are just plain awful, they deserve undying hatred, this is why I go out of my way as GM to make sure every Gnome PC dies horribly and as soon as possible. This is why when I see one on a lawn I wait til dark to assassinate the little monstrosity. So don't get preachy about gnomes, they don't deserve your defense.

The OP is horrifically hypocritical. It claims offense at racism, yet openly uses the inherently racist term "halfling"? Excuse me, but exactly what is "halfling" half of? The term implies that they are somehow less than what they "should" or "ought" to be.
If "hobbit" is too copywrighty for you, then at least use the non-derogatory term "wholefling".
