Spell Combos

Post good spells to cast together!

Please post what class or classes that are required for the spell combo.

I'm looking for some more ideas.

Here's an example of what I'm thinking of when I say "Combo"

Wizard/Sorcerer
Create Pit + Web/Stone Wall + Cloudkill - We all know about the Web + Cloudkill combo, but I was thinking about how much fun it would be to cap a pit off with a Web spell so that even if they can make the 25 DC climb check to get out, they'll have to get past the web to actually escape.

As far as I can tell there isn't anything that says you can't put a web over the top of the pit, but just in case, I threw Stone Wall in there as another option - you can pop a dome over the pit.

Drop a cloudkill inside the pit and then walk away.

Break and quickened break is a pretty sweet combo. :P

A Personal favorite of mine is in the witch class (hexes are usually applied beforehand).

-Pernicious Poison ( -4 to saves against poison and poison lasts twice as long)

-Vomit Swarm

With evil eye up we are looking at -8 on saves against poison and with my augment summoning feat (I always take that feat as a primary caster) the DC for the poison goes up by 2.

Well, that gives me another idea...

Elevator to Heaven
Important parts: Create Pit, seal it with a Wall of Stone - you can shape it any way you want, so make it a flat cover plate at the level of the surrounding terrain. Wait until the Pit spell ends.

What happens is this: "When the duration of the spell ends, creatures within the hole rise up with the bottom of the pit until they are standing on the surface over the course of a single round." Since there is a certain obstacle, your victims will be utterly crushed between the upwards-moving ground of the pit and the stone lid.

Optional improvements: Cast Grease or other spells to inhabit victims from climbing up. Cast illusionary terrain over the pit to set up an ambush. Cast several layers of Stone Wall, make it more structurally stable by other means, place huge weights on top...

On another thought... If you first create an illusion to make the ground under your targets look exactly like it does (against which they shouldn't even get a ST because there is nothing to notice) and THEN create the pit directly under the illusion... I doubt they still get the normal reflex throw against a pit they can't see opening below them.

Black Tentacles and either Wall of Fire (or the Evocation Wizard's Elemental Wall) was a combo I was planning on trying out once I got a Wizard to the right level.

And presumably you could combine the damaging walls with the solid walls (stone, force etc) to trap your enemies and oven roast them.

In the context of combos: Besides the obvious ones, what are the best druid spells to build some sort of natural fortress? (obvious is stuff like move earth, wall of stone/thorns...)

Aqueous Orb + Hideous Laughter.

Aqueous Orb: Engulfed creatures are immersed in water and must hold their breath unless capable of breathing water.

Hideous Laughter: It collapses into gales of manic laughter.

Laughing makes you expel air, then suck in. When underwater that is generally bad for one's sustained health.
