I've only gone over the whole class about 1 times so I wanna make sure I got this before I play one.
1) Do you only add the damage dice? So at level 6, with a 20 dex, would a Dead Shot with a musket be (assuming you hit both) 2d12+5 or 2d12+10? I understand that it doesn't increase precision or extra from weapon special abilities, but it doesn't say anything about additional damage from dex or feats (Point Blank Shot, Deadly Aim, etc.).
2) Also, do you count DR once, or once per attack roll?
I may have missed this, but I've read the ability about 3 times looking for this stuff. Also, for anyone that has number crunched it, does it seem weak in damage output. I know it's not going to be an archer, but will it be a good damage dealer since that is the spot I need/like to fill?
Thanks a head of time.

EXCERPT: "For each additional successful attack roll beyond the first, the gunslinger increases the damage of the shot by the base damage dice of the firearm. For instance, if a 7th-level gunslinger firing a musket hits with both attacks, she does 2d12 points of damage with the shot, instead of 1d12 points of damage, before adding ANY damage modifiers."
Emphasis mine. In your example, the answer would be 2d12+5.
Dead Shot will generally do less damage than a full attack would (since you only add modifiers once rather than X-times), but if your number of attacks are limited due to slow reload times, it may allow you to get extra damage you wouldn't otherwise get anyways. It also allows you to stack on a lot of damage with far less risk of misfire. A normal full attack of, say 4 attacks, is 4x more likely to misfire than a single attack. A dead shot is even less likely to misfire than even a single attack, as all your "attack rolls" have to misfire for it to count as a misfire.
You count DR once when using Dead Shot. Though you are rolling multiple attack rolls, it is considered a single attack and has only one damage roll.
Using Dead Shot only consumes one bullet and one shot of powder, despite having multiple attack rolls (it is still only a single attack).
