It does not work like that. On the top of each map are 2 tabs, key view/ non key view that show/ hide room numbers. And player/ DM view that hide traps, secret doors, secret rooms.
you can click on those to show players or print them out without worring about them seeing something they were not suposted to see.

I believe what you're referring to is the Single PDF version download, correct? We are resolving the issues with the map links (which will be remedied by the end of the week) because there was some complaint about the map tags not working correctly for iPad (but yes, they will take you to the descriptions). If it's the Interactive Maps PDF, I'll need to take a closer look.

Or PC. :)
Speaking of iPad, I'm starting to really want a tablet now. So may PDFs, so annoying to read on a laptop.

As someone who uses one, I'd like to say that they're damn handy for gaming purposes.
(although for some reason the images aren't showing up correctly in the non-interactive files on my iPad this time around)

This was an issue that was fixed yesterday afternoon (you should have received an e-mail about it). If you redownload, the non-interactive files should work. :)

First, let me say that I am not being critical, rather I am simply pointing out a fact.
It is November of 2011 and the interactive maps in the Brinewall Legacy do not work. Not only do they not work there aren't any images on them. They are simply a blank sheet of paper with hard links to places that not only do not exist on the iPad, they cannot be created on the iPad.
Please send me a bump on this if you ever get it working. Working on the iPad that is. I have subscriptions and am a PFS member so if this is something that is going to be the standard for the future... Please fix it or simply send out standard PDF maps. At least I can scroll through a standard map during the sessions.

Please look at the FAQ for the Interactive Maps. The software currently provided for iPad simply doesn't allow for the features in those PDFs. I am keeping my eye out for any applications or news that may change this, however.
Is this functionality being added to older AP PDF's? (S.S. specifically)
Now that the format for them is fairly solid, we may very well be doing this.
