Hey guys, I'm playing a Drow Noble CR 2/Magus 9 (by the way the class rocks) and I have a 30 Armor Class throught this:
Base = 10
Dexterity = +7
Celestial Armor = +9
Amulet of Natural Armor = +2
Ring of Deflection = +2
I can raise it to 34 with the Shield Spell
Or 37 with Spell Shield Arcana
I got into a lot of trouble and was stalling a party of three stone giants and managed to get to 40 AC with Total Defense (+6 Dodge through Acrobatics Skill) and Mirror Image
I was wondering if you guys can help me seeing what else I can use in order to get more bonuses to AC from Feats, Armor, Items etcétera I want to Max it out (rawr) because I'm starting to think I might be the only chance of a decent tank in the party we are playing :S
Thanks!

i assume you already have dodge feat
main ways to increase are simply to get better nat armor amulet, better deflection ring and mithral full plate with a big bonus
also as a magus you get monstrous physique and undead anatomy you keep your gear if you use use because you remain in a roughly humanoid form i.e. gear doesn't meld it just resizes. you can get a +6 nat armor this way.
although the better way to augment your tankishness would be to use spell like blur, displacment and stoneskin etc which introduces a miss chance on top of a difficult to hit AC and DR for the times they do get through.
because no matter how good your AC is, if a creature beats it the AC dose nothing to further avoid or mitigate damage.

Feat - Combat Expertise: @ BAB 6, -2 attack + 2 AC
Spell - Alter Self, Monstrous Physique I allow you to shrink to small: +2 Dex & +1 NA. Note, if you are a dervish, shrinking allows you to up your attack and damage, but with your armor your AC is effectively capped at the Dex limitation.
Slightly counter intuitive: Lunge (Feat), take - 2 AC and increase reach by 5 ft. Hey, it allows you cast without creating AoO and forces the monster to waste movement on you.

@Phasics and Meatrace: Thanks I didnt remember the new Polymorph spells and how they augment armor class. Ok also then: Misplacement, Blur and Mirror Image.
That would be 50% misplacement, 20% Blur and X% Mirror Image.
@TheDoctor: I was thinking about Lunge but as a Magus when you Spell Combat you can mage your attacks first, take a 5 step and cast the spell. Also my GM has a fetish for enemies with reach.
Also I was thinking about Combat Expertise. But I dont think the dodge bonuses are cumulative. :S
Edit: Opps Dodge bonuses are cumulative! Yey!
