Hi All. Let me apologize in advance, because I know this has been addressed in extant threads, but I'm having trouble finding said instances.
If I have an eidolon with multiple pairs of limbs and the two weapon fighting feat, can I make multiple attacks with crossbows per round at only a -2 penalty? Would this penalty be -4 if I were using bows?
Thanks for the help!

this one is pretty simple. When two weapon fighting, you take a -2 penalty if you are using light weapons in your off hand. Otherwise you take a -4 penalty. Multiweapon fighting works the same way.
neither short or long bows are listed as light weapons.
a repeating light crossbow might fire at a -2. I am unsure though. The eidolon would probably need to leave a hand open to reload the crossbows so that it doesn't get an extra -2.

-2 penalty for two weapon fighting penalties if using light or hand crossbows (they count as light weapons), or -4 if using a heavy cross bow in your off hand (counts as two one-handed weapons).
You take a further -2 on light crossbows, -4 on heavy, and none on a hand crossbow for firing one handed, unless you are using two hands per crossbow (which will allow reloading too)As for bows, and this is now pure speculation, I would treat longbows as one handed weapons and shortbows as light weapons for the purposes of two-weapon fighting penalties. And of course, each would require 2 hands.
