Silly question about greater magic weapon

Let's say i am an 8th level wizard and i cast greater magic weapon on a +2 longsword, does the longsword becomes +4 or not?
I think it doesn't do anything to the sword but i wanted to make sure.

Greater Magic Weapon does not stack with existing enhancement bonuses. A +1 flaming longsword would however become a +2 flaming longsword.
