Instant Reflexes (Combat)

Your have split-second reflexes.

Prerequisites: Combat Reflexes

Benefit: You may take one additional immediate action per round. With this feat, you may also make an immediate action while flat-footed.

Normal: A character without this feat can make one immediate action per round and can't use an immediate action while flat-footed.

Special: The Instant Reflexes feat allows you to still take your swift action on your turn if you only used one immediate action.

Are there enough immediate actions to warrant such a feat? I know I'm a big fan of those immediate action counter-spells and abilities (like featherfall), especially 1 round buffs.

What kind of immediate actions do you see this feat used to perform?

Not a fan of this feat, it messes with an important limitation on action economy, and will likely have more impact than a feat should have.

If you want to implement a similar echanic best be specific which kind of immediate actions you have in mind to use his feat with and build around that, much easier to balance that way.

Hmm, seems both niche and too good, and, like Remco said, it disrupts a major limitation. How about allowing AoO and immediate actions while flat-footed, and then X times/day or something you can use an immediate action without sacrificing next turn's swift action?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Maybe X = 1 + Dexterity modifier?

And maybe, each time you use it, it reduces the number of attacks of opportunity you can make in a round by 1 until the next day?

Hmm...yeah I agree with the consensus. Shoot and a miss.
