While I appreciate your enthusiasm for the game, you really need to do some research about copyrights and licenses before you think about releasing products built around other people's intellectual properties.
I can't tell if using the OGL, but you'll need to make sure that you use it and abide by it; if not, your app violates copyrights of both Paizo and Wizards of the Coast. And if you think you *are* using it, you're not using it correctly.
Of particular note, while the OGL gives you access to the Open Game Content from our PRD, it does specifically restrict you from using "any ... trademark or registered trademark clearly identified as Product identity by the owner of the Product Identity", or from "indicat[ing] compatibility or co-adaptability with any Trademark or Registered Trademark in conjunction with a work containing Open Game Content except as expressly licensed in another, independent Agreement with the owner of such Trademark or Registered Trademark."
In short, you need to follow the OGL, and you're not allowed to use the term "Pathfinder" with your product (except where you cite it as part of your OGL Section 15 copyright notice). You may substitute the non-trademarked term "PFRPG", or something similar, if you like.
(Now, if you were a non-commercial user, you may be able to do a bit more under our Community Use Policy, but you're not, so you can't.)
Also, your very description—that it allows you to "browse the Pathfinder Reference Document (PRD) completely offline"—is misleading at best. While the d20 SRD is functionally a fixed document that never changes, the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Reference Document is a living document found *only* at http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/, and even if your app currently contains everything that it does, the PRD can and will be modified in the future, rendering your claim inaccurate at any given time.
I think perhaps you mean that it allows you to browse Open Game Content from the PFRPG.

Very thanks for the explanation.
I have already taken steps to remove all references to "pathfinder".
Tomorrow will arrange to study in detail the OGL and remove any other my mistakes.
I apologize for these errors, I was misled by the fact that there are many applications that use your brand. So I thought it was permissible.
Again many thanks for the explanation:).

Vic,
I have a question. I fully understand that you're not permitting the use of the "Pathfinder" brand in any labeling, advertising, or copy of external applications. I get why.
My question is this. Are you allowed to use those terms in descriptive tags? If the objective is to get the Pathfinder game out, is it permissible to have the product appear when the term "Pathfinder" is searched, even if every other reference to Pathfinder is removed.
I honestly don't know the answer to this question, I'm just curious how far the copyright extends.
By the way...Takilian, if you were wondering why the contents of the d20PFSRD *is* allowed to use the term "Pathfinder", you should read up more on the Community Use policy. Paizo has given fans a HUGE open method of using logos and Pathfinder content...but it's fan only and there are requirements. I don't think Paizo will ever open up their trademarks and logos to open use for a for-profit group; it's counter-intuitive to them doing business.

My confusion comes from commercial apps that use the trademarks of Paizo, not from d20PFSRD.
However, it is my fault, I should not trust, but I would have to investigate. Will not happen again.I just hope I have not created problems.
@ Armenfrast: have you tried the sections without an asterisk?
Another user, with a Galaxy Tab 10.1, fails to show any pages because of a bug.
Just after resolving any problem with OGL, will solve this bug.
@Vic Wertz: Probably, even the topics that I have opened this forum to advertise my apps are not very welcome.
But I can not delete them: (
P.S. Sorry for my English :(

It's not actually a matter of copyright—it's a requirement of the OGL:
"You agree not to Use any Product Identity, including as an indication as to compatibility, except as expressly licensed in another, independent Agreement with the owner of each element of that Product Identity." (And "Use" is defined as "to use, Distribute, copy, edit, format, modify, translate and otherwise create Derivative Material of Open Game Content.")
Since trademarks are Product Identity, both by the definition of Product Identity in OGL section 1e and by our own PI declarations in each of our products, you can't "Use" them, regardless of what copyright law may or may not allow.

If you're aware of anything like that, please drop a note to licensing@paizo.com to let us know about it.

No worries—I appreciate your enthusiasm and your willingness to make it right.

With this new version i can read data.
"with a four-level index with over 1000 voices" ? do you mean "choices" ?
Can you increase the depth of the folding index ?
Base
+ Classes
++ Character advancement
+++ Advancing your character
+++ Multiclassing
+++ Favord Class
++ Barbarian
++ Bard
etc...
When i click on the fighter link i get the following message file:///android_asset/prd/classes/fighter.html is not available
The X for closing is too small.
Could you include a previous page or equivalent option ? For exemple from index, i go to races then to Elves then to Constition then to language and from there i cannot go back. I must close the tab and resume from the Index.

Sure I can, I planned an update for next week.
The upgrade will include new material added to the PRD in this week.Also improve the index as you suggested.
When i click on the fighter link i get the following message file:///android_asset/prd/classes/fighter.html is not available
That's right, it means that is not in the Lite version.
Probably will add classes in the coming days.

As someone as already pointed it out the pfsrd is available for free on the web, so if you want to sell it, you must provide more than contents and web navigation.
Being usable off-line is nice, but i can already make a copy of the pfsrd and use it off line on my device.
So you must concentrate on the ease of navigation and search of information.

Actually, if the game is more simple with the app, they will only have benefit from that. They should allow the use of compatibility logo to softwares too i think.more is supported the game, and more the game will be played. They are not creating apps; we are doing it for them. i think they should not put obstacle on our way. But i'm not a market expert as you know.

You are not buying the contents, but the work made to show them. ^^ Of course this work will continue i suppose, and this will be more powerfull and easy to use. (i sayd i suppose because i'm not implyed in this project. Takilian is the leader for the prd project, in fact i haven't done this work for iPhone too, basicly because this work already exist.)

Hello,
i am not english so i cannot tell if my pronunciation is in cause or something else, but my first reaction is to say that the vocal search is an unreliable gadget, especially when it comes to fantasy vocabulary.
From my point of view you can remove it, it is useless.
| GringoireDM |
Useless is a strong and unfair word. I think that this is a good thing, it works fine, even with "fantasy" words, because the software doesn't have a built-in vocabulary. You just have to use a good pronunciation of terms you want to search. tha app is localized in english, so it's good to think that it would be used by people who knows english. ^^ Anyway, this is another feature that he is selling you for the same price. I would understand your point if he would sell the app for a greater price just because there is the voice search, but this is not the case.
Here we have a man that is working to give you the better experience with his products, and doing it he is not asking more than a cup of coffe and a croissant. ^_-
Respect for gigi. (gigi is in ita the name "Luigi").
Over that, i hope you enjoy our products.

No offense intended - i was just answering to: "Have you tried searching voice?" and unfortunately i am french and i thought that my accent could sound "oxfordian" if i did an effort, but it seems that not.
Magic Missile is recognized, but "sword" returns "word" and so on...
Over that, i hope you enjoy our products.
Yes - i mastered We Goblins yesterday with my pad next to me. I just had to search "dog" and follow the link to "Dog, riding"... et voila I have the stats of my encounter.

And if the app would be translated in french? do you think the voice search would be usefull for you? :)

(...) and the app will not be translated.
I know fairly well the french community of pathfinder players, and even if we dutyfully translate and update the PFSRD, you will never have enough customers to compensate even the time to think about the project :)
And personnally i started playing rpg at a time where no RPG was translated into french, so english fantasy vocabulary is my second language (or I fancy to believe it)

I just came across your app in the Android App store and I'm liking it. It would be nice if the search was brought to the default/front page along with being in the options menu. The search functionality is the best thing about your app! It's faster and more comprehensive than searching the Paizo PDFs individually, a lot faster than searching through the hardcover books, and even faster than using d20pfsrd on a speedy internet connection.
Now all I need to do is get Android installed on my HP Touchpad and fire this up on it.

Not really. :D You can also make a search from searchfield on home Screen of your device. :) You don't need to start the app. It is a great app.
I would still prefer to have the dedicated in-app search moved more to the foreground. The search using the default Android Search widget is clunky for searching PFRPG RD in my opinion. I also don't like to keep the widget on my home screen since it takes up so much space and has little utility for me.

Thanks for making this app; I bought it for on my new Samsung Galaxy S II and I can already see how handy it's going to be at the game table.
I have a question: if I'm not mistaken, the app creates a 78MB 'prd' folder on the phone's internal storage. Is there a way to get this onto the SD card instead?

Tried the "lite" version, loved it, and immediately picked up the paid version. It's a lot easier to search an electronic document than to thumb through a stack of hard-cover books (and it's a lot lighter to carry, too).
Is there a way to change the default font size? While I realise it's possible to zoom in at any time, it's mildly irritating to have to do it for every page (and since I'm using the app on a tablet, I can afford to use a slightly larger font)
If I want it on my phone (a Droid 3) as well as a tablet, that's a separate purchase, right?

No, actually there isn't a way to change the default font syze.
No, it isn't a separate purchase. You can install it on all your devices (same account).
