Ferret looking creature

Product Discussion

There is an Elf with a bunch of what appear to be ferrets on page 77 of Ultimate Magic. One of my fellow players needs one (or more) and I am unsure as to exactly what they are or where I can find stats/info on it. I realize there isn't info on that exact creature from the art, but anything equivalent will be super!

Those are eidolon from the Summoner class. As such they aren't "real" creatures but bonded to the Summoner. In this case I believe it is art for the Broodmaster archetype option for that class.

Try using a wolverine and reduce its HP and size to be appropriate for your needs.

They are related in the natural world.

Ah that's where the Wessel entry was. Even with digital books I blanked on that. I feel dumb.

Yes the wessel works a good base for a ferret. Ferrets with horns are a slightly different issue.

Looks like really long ears to me, not horns. Also, a fox (Ultimate Magic) could also be a close approximation stat-wise.

ps: mustalids with horns makes me think of Jinx, the horned marten from Inkheart.

Well I'll hedge by saying they're eidolon so they very well could be both swiveling horns and ears at the same time. Who's to say what's in that elf's mind? I can't, I'm out of detect throughs and my crystal EyeBall is in with the Prodigy Tavern folks for some warranty work.

Excellent info everyone. Thanks for the direction. My friend shall have all the ferrets she can handle now.

Ironically, I know someone who's having to move and can't take their ferret with them. They need to find a good home for it.

I kind of thought they were Donkey Rats.
