Special material slings?

So looking over the sling, it is made from leather and string. I do not see too many options for special materials but perhaps a dragonhide sling.

Are there any other special materials that could be used?

You can make a sling from strands of nymph hair, or anything else. But it has no real effect other than flavor.

Your ammunition, on the other hand, can be silver, adamantine, cold-iron, etc.

What he said. Slings are just a couple pieces of rope and a cup. You need to make the bullets out of adamantine/silver/etc

Most of the special materials for a sling will be what you make your bullets and sling stones out of. I think Halfings of Golarion and the Adventures Armory had a few additional sling ammo options too.

i have created a halfling slinger for an upcoming campaign and put "softstones" on his list (think rubber bullets: nonlethal only; described in Halflings of Golarion)

There are "spongestones" (i think) in HoG that do the same thing. I think it was spongestones, anyway
