No, they use their dex still, it is simply that attacking a touch AC with a thrown weapon is not very difficult... at all.
Ohhhh, I see, Str is just Thrown Weapon Damage, not to-hit! Ooops... thank you sir!

Ehhh not quite, you add your intelligence modifier to damage rolls for you bombs. It seems perhaps you should read over the class one more time. Try this as an online reference.
