Alright, I will try to articulate this to the best of my ability.
I know that Reaper is curently trying to revamp their Proof of Purchase program. I was wondering that since Reaper makes the Pathfinder miniatures, if there could be some kind of partnership in terms of Paizo adding gift certificates of various amounts for X amount of Proof of purchases? or at least something along those lines. Paizo and Reaper could work out whatever deal behind closed doors but i feel that this would be an excellent idea in aiding each comapny and furthering their promotion of products. I would love both fan and paizo staff input on this idea. Take care friends, and Game on!!...

What is Reaper's proof of purchase program?
If it hasn't changed, it's basically an old-school "collect points from the back of boxes" type thing - part of the cardboard backing for each blister is printed with "One Reaper Point" (or something similar) and you are supposed to mail them in to Reaper in exchange for... something. Can't remember a lot of the details, but that's the general idea.

Tshirts, bumper stickers, keychains, ect

You used to be able to redeem Reaper Points for t-shirts, and you only paid for the shipping. That was awesome, and I have four of their shirts from back when they used to do that (the Warlord shirt featured an image of the miniature I used for one of my favorite characters with the legend "Come Get Some!", so that shirt is obviously a favorite of mine -- only topped by paizo's DUNGEON shirt with Warduke on it ("True To The Game!")).
But then they changed it so that you only got a discount on the shirts, and even after the discount they were spendy, so I stopped paying attention and stopped collecting the points.

It is my impression that reaper in fact has discontinued the proof of purchase program. New blisters no longer have them.
I am also fairly sure I was told this was the last year they would allow you to redeem them for reaper bucks for the auction at reaper con.
If this is true, it is utter lamesauce!!

Given the high cost of tin and zinc, rising transportation costs, and constricting markets, it's likely they simply can't afford the program anymore.
It was nice while it lasted, but you can't expect them the give stuff away for free in this economy.

I REALLY hope they start offering something fun!
I really got excited when I started getting Reaper with proofs of purchase points... Haven't seen those since I was a kid...
But... yeah...
a cup with Reaper on it... or a sticker with Reaper on it... ehhhh... Nothing I really WANTED.
Which was apparently the problem. Any Customer Appreciation Plan should offer customers something that they want, not just a hat or a keychain.
We're working on one.

I know the Pathfinder range don't have the points on, but I bought regular Reaper figures recently that did.
Then again, they could be old stock that had been sitting round. Can the Reaper man confirm if blisters are currently including the points?

Can you give us any hints on what you may be planning? I, for one, enjoyed the basis of your program and would love to see what becomes of it now.

Newly Packaged Product does not have the points. We do still have a billion packs that stores bought before we reprinted the packaging though, so you may find many packs out there.

I'm not really supposed to hint about it. It may or may not involve cloning facilities and velociraptors, ninjas, and teleporters.

Okay I understand the secrecy, but can you at least tell us when the new program will be finalized and in place?

Not with any accuracy - our first plan date was missed due to unforseen internal crisis.
