Any suggestions on gming something like getting a character pinned to a wall with a stake or sword or something? The sort of thing that happens often in B action movies. Usually through one or both shoulders.
CMB roll vs targets CMD, and it gives the entangled condition. (which among other things makes them unable to leave the square.
/random brainstorm.

I'd use a combat maneuver for it, perhaps dirty trick?
EDIT: Which coincidentally, can give the entangled condition for 1d4 rounds, which is perfect for somebody whose been snagged to a wall.
Furthermore, entanglement says that if whatever is snagging you is rooted to something (like a wall) you can't move. So you stab a guy's shirt with your rapier, jammiing the blade in the narrow gap of a brick wall behind him, pinning him to it.
All it takes is a CMB vs. CMD and he is immoble (can't leave his square) and entanled until he spends a move action to escape (likely tearing his shirt).
With Improved Dirty Trick you get a +2 to both CMB to perform dirty tricks and to CMD to avoid dirty tricks. You also no longer provoke for the attempt.
With Greater Dirty Trick, you gain an additional +2 to CMB, the victim must spend a standard action to recover from the condition, and it's duration is potentially increased by several rounds.

Yup, I'll second the notion for Dirty Trick. I'd say the target gains the entangled condition.
If the character had both Improved Bull Rush and Improved Dirty Trick, I'd allow him to perform both maneuvers in one motion, bull rushing the target to the wall and sticking him there, provided he had a piercing weapon in hand to perform the sticking with.
