My players were fighting a will-w'-wisp. It does a touch electricity attack. And the fighter used in harm's way to take damage instead of his allies.

Can that be done? With such attacks?

Also, if a cleric casts harm and touches a creature adjacent to the character with in harm's way, can he take that damage upon himself? Or any other touch spell for that matter.

Also, if a cleric uses a Hero point to do another standard action, can he cast a spell and then channel energy?

I'm not a PF rule authority, but to me those seem clear.

Usually characters have Swift Action, Standard Action and Move Action (of witch Standard and Move can be combined to Full-Round Action). No matter how you use those, you can still do what you want with the extra Standard Action granted by a Hero Point.

So for example:
Cast Quickened Spell (Swift)
Cast Spell (Standard)
Draw Wand (Move)
Channel Energy (Extra Standard granted by a Hero Point)

Yes to all. In Harm's Way can be used against any attack that targets AC. However note that it uses Immediate Action witch you get only one per turn and it uses your next rounds Swift Action.

Why wouldn't he be able to?

Thanks. Just one thing you can cast only a single spell per turn, no matter how many standard actions you can use per turn.

Right, there is that limitation (Quickened Spell is an exception to this).

Wait, where is this said? You can't cast a normally swift spell, and then a standard action spell? What if you cast an immediate action spell like Gallant Inspiration during your allies turn, can you still cast spells on your turn?

A spell with a casting time of 1 swift action doesn't count against your normal limit of one spell per round. However, you may cast such a spell only once per round. Casting a spell with a casting time of 1 swift action doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity.

There

Another question, can a grappled creature attack other creatures it is not grappling, albeit with a -2 penalty (it is so stated in the grappled condition)
