Magus and Arcane Strike

I recall that this phrase...

Quote:
... This ability counts as the Arcane Strike feat for meeting any prerequisites. Multiple uses of this ability do not stack with themselves...

... in the third round playtest of the Magus, and some developer feedback, meant that a Magus's arcane pool weapon enhancement trick didn't stack with the Arcane Strike Feat.

Since this text doesn't appear in the final version of the Magus in Ultimate Magic, is it safe to assume that these two things do now stack? After all, Arcane Strike always seemed a natural Feat for a Magus to take, barring the playtest ruling against stacking.

If there's already a thread answering this please direct me!

I'd also like an answer on this one! Thanks

Answer is already in the description of them: Arcane Strike gives untyped bonus to weapon damage and Arcane Pool gives enhancement bonus to attack and damage rolls. There is absolutely no reason for them to not stack - if the developers intended them not to there would be note (unless eaten by a grue - printer shop was so dark...).

They stack now, but you cannot active them both on the same round.

You need to start with Arcane Pool that has a duration of 10 rounds... then you can arcane strike every round for the next nine rounds if you want to have them stack.

awesome

Additionally, if you take Bladebound archetype and use the Black Blade's "Strike" ability, all 3 stack as the Black Blade strike is also untyped damage bonus and AFAIK, non type bonuses are the exception to the "type" stacking rule. As a Bonus, Black Blade Strike is a FREE action and also lasts 1 minute.

So 1st round, Arcane Pool plus Black Blade Strike
next 9 rounds, use Arcane Strike every round unless you have other swift actions to perform.

Untyped bonuses from different sources stack. Lets be clear. ;3

They are different sources...

I think people know that no bonus can stack from the same source.

Cool - that's what I thought (and it makes the Magus just that little bit more competative in melee - which the guy needs), I just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything obvious!
