If a magus uses a spell to create a weaponlike effect, such as shadow weapon or flame blade, can he use his spellstrike ability to channel spells through it? I know it's probably not the most efficient option, but I'm curious anyway.
Let's see:
At 2nd level, whenever a magus casts a spell with a range of “touch” from the magus spell list, he can deliver the spell through any weapon he is wielding as part of a melee attack. Instead of the free melee touch attack normally allowed to deliver the spell, a magus can make one free melee attack with his weapon (at his highest base attack bonus) as part of casting this spell. If successful, this melee attack deals its normal damage as well as the effects of the spell.
You may use this weapon to make attacks as if it were a real weapon, dealing normal damage for a weapon of its type.
You wield this blade-like beam as if it were a scimitar.
I don't see why not.
Just be sure to cast your weapon-producing spell before you cast your touch spell. :)

Jiggy, UMD is your friend. Assuming Wisdom doesn't need to be emulated, as well. ;) As a second level spell, though, it will only last 3 minutes in PFS, only requires a 12 Wisdom, and a UMD check of 23 from a scroll, or only 20 if it is from a wand.
4,500 gp for a wand of it. Could be interesting, as long as you aren't playing a Blade Bound or Kensai Magus.

I think it is safe to expect table variations on flame blade. As tje text "You wield this blade-like beam as if it were a scimitar." Seem to suggest that it isent a weapon.
And at later levels SR is gonna be a problem if you use wands. If it is in a home game ask the GM if you can spend a Arcana to get it on the list.
