Has anyone attempted to convert Necropolis to the Pathfinder system? I'd do it myself, but it's a rather massive undertaking and I don't have too much experience converting from 3rd edition. If anyone's interested, maybe we could set up a group conversion project.
It was absolutely amazing to convert Necropolis from LA to 3E. Meeting Gygax was awesome. Bill and I took him to dinner at GenCon the year we released our version of it. Man, he has some amazing stories.
That would make a GREAT conversion to Pathfinder I think.

I would have loved to meet Gary Gygax! That must have been a real treat!
I'm very impressed with the Necromancer Games conversion of Necropolis and want to run it as part of the campaign my group is in. That's why I'd like to start up a conversion project if folks are interested... I have some time before I can fit it in to the campaign, so now's the time to work on it.

I've never had the chance to run Necropolis yet but if I do get the chance I'm more than likely going to try to run it as Pathfinder so I'm curious what ideas people have about it.
Would people also modify the setting to make it fit in Osirion or just go with the setting as is? It seems like it would be interesting in addition to mechanical changes from 3.0 to PF what setting/fluff changes people would make to fit it in with Golarion. Maybe also merge in concepts from Green Ronin's Hamunaptra?

I actually like the setting as is... Though if I run this as a follow up to Legacy of Fire (which is what I had originally intended) I'd have to find a way to make it fit.
I like the Egyptian gods playing a role in the story, and I don't think it would be difficult to convert the additional domains associated with them if necessary. I'd start up a conversion project, but right now it seems as if there isn't enough interest in it.
