Alchemist Archetypes

Advice

So I've finished up my Alchemist for an upcoming game and along comes Ultimate Magic and tosses a monkey wrench into my imagination (a good thing :).

I'm thinking of going with Mindchemist and Psychonaut mostly for interesting character reasons but I wonder...is this going to be the most effective build for the team? Chirurgeon and Vivisectionist seems to be a nice combo but we have a Rogue (and a Barbarian, a Magus) and I don't wish to step on anyone's toes.

What are your thoughts on the Alchemist's archetype options?

I've been planning on combing Clone Master with Implant bomb, suicide clones seem very handy to me.

My personal playstyle for the alchemist is that they always take you by surprise. Do something unexpected to get the upperhand (like using Implant bomb on yourself)

Vivisectionist would complement the rogue well by providing him with a flanking buddy. Chirurgeon would provide some extra healing and the party you mention could use that as well. I would say go with Chirurgeon/Vivisectionist as long you don't need the ranged damage from bombs.

I totally agree on having clones... I'm also planning on totally surprising my party when I just bust out a clone out of nowhere. Another thought, could you just throw a clone in a bag of holding since its not technically alive until you possess it? (by clones I mean doppleganger simulacrum not clone via the spell)
