Bards performing two performances at once

Rules Questions

What I mean is, what if a bard sings and plays an instrument at the same time? Or sings and dances, or does oratory with percussion, etc.

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but would the bard be allowed to roll for both performances? Just their highest? A flat +2 for doing both?

I'm thinking along the lines of some bonus for doing 2 things at once. We all enjoy a good singer, but it's better when they have some music to go with it. Is there some mechanism I missed, or does a bard who's singing and playing an instrument do no better than just singing alone?

"Bards performing two performances at once"... is what they had to give up to gain so much else in Pathfinder. (By at once, I mean the effects going on at once).

If you mean performing for their supper to make money, I think that's a reasonable thing to present to a DM - kinda like a synergy bonus. But for actual "Bardic Performance" use, no go.

That's what I think. I have a bard who wants to be good at several performance types, and I think a +2 for using 2 at once seems like a fair bonus.

There's no real advantage to diversifying performance types, otherwise.

If you're allowing 3.5 material, I would recommend investing in a Harmonizing Weapon. That is, if you're looking to get multiple bardic performances going at once. Just make sure one of them (the first used) is of an audible sort.
