Any bladebound magus builds, anyone?

Advice

I did a search and could not find any. I am wondering what would be better to focus on for not only stats but also feats. I am guessing that having a high int and combat casting are a given but what after that? Would you have the stats to try to go high str or would the minuses to casting that would cause just work against you? Here are the stats I am looking at.

Str 14
Dex 14
Con 12
Int 18
Wis 12
Chr 9

And for feats

H: Weapon Focus Scimitar
1: Combat casting

In my humble opinion, a magus especially a bladebound magus is better served by a high strength than a high int. The reasons for this are the facts that you will almost always be using either buff or touch spells neither of which usually allow a save. So Int gets you bonus spells, skills and languages. Not bad but strength will be a more effective choice imo.

Str 18
Dex 14
Con 12
Int 14
Wis 12
Chr 9

This is more of what I would do for stats.

Feats: You cannot take Weapon focus until 3 due to the fact that magus has a +0 BAB at level 1 and a +1 BAB is a prerequisite for Weapon focus.

H: Either Improved Initiative, Toughness, or Lightening Reflexes
1: Combat casting

I have a player with a level 6 bladebound magus and he is loving it btw.

My worry was being able to make the concentration check to get those spells off in combat. There are only a few ways to up that check and failing those rolls is going to suck.

If you are using traits I would suggest Focused Mind out of Advanced Player Guide and Sword Scion from Kingmakder Player Guide, the former gives a +2 trait bonus to concentration and the latter gives a +1 trait bonus to hit with a longsword or Aldori dueling sword.
