Xorn can't talk terran?

Rules Questions

Sczarni

Sounds like a pointless question but in fact i was planning for the PC's to encounter some Xorn who are actualy "working/eating rock" for some drow.

Since the encounter might result in other thing than an actual fight i realised that the Xorn have no actual language!
So how the drow could have bargain their way in in the first place?

The xorn have intel 10 so i see no problem for them to understand terran at the very least. The party even have a dwarven druid that comes from the underworld to interact with... everything is there for a great and fun encounter.

Is there any errata or update that clarify this or some bits of info i'm missing otherwise i'm just gonna rule that Xorn speaks terran period! Their might be other creatures with a similar problem that i'm not aware of!

They spoke Terran in 3.5, and I suspect it's simply an error that they have no language listed in Pathfinder. I've houseruled their language back in for my campaigns :)

They should certainly be able to speak Terran.

...Although, for some reason, I always imagine Xorn as having Swedish Chef accents.

I had a Xorn-Drow connection in one of my recent games, and I allowed the Xorn to understand and speak Terran.

Totally off topic(since the question was answered by James above), but my group last night was just joking about orcs sounding like the Swedish Chef and it led to a joking discussion between them and a dwarf 'Dwarfy dwarfy dwarfy, orc orc orc'.

Hm, they always struck me as more "FEED ME, SEYMOUR!!"

(At least from the AD&D Monster Manual picture.)

+1!

I had a fun 3.0 encounter where my dwarf met some Xorns arguing about who got to eat what gems. Interesting creatures as they're not evil yet could come to blows with the party if both sides really wanted some particular minerals. It must've been an oversight that they had no language listed.
