Ultimate Magic: Hexcrafter and Staff Magus compatibility?

I am creating a Staff Magus and am also thinking of making him a Hexcrafter are these archetypes compatible in the same character? I think they are from what I've read but its after midnight and I don't trust my reading comprehension at this hour so could someone else with the pdf double check for me?

I think you can combine them, as Hexcrafter only replaces Spell Recall, and Staff Magus doesn't replace Spell recall.
