Hi all,
I talked to Bill this weekend and received some big news in regards to The Tome of Horrors Complete (PF and S&W editions).
In order to have the books available by Gen Con, we are closing the preorders after June 30th so we will know how many of each to print. We will likely print a few extras, but the books are going to be fairly expensive to print on anything other than a large scale, so there is unlikely to be a reprint (not impossible, but there would have to be a huge demand to justify the cost). So while the pdf will remain available, those hoping to catch a physical copy other than through preorder could have difficulty finding it. There have been some copies ordered for distribution through Noble Knight and Troll and Toad I believe, but again due to its prohibitive cost I don't believe that there will be very many on store shelves. Frog God is just a little company, and this is hugemongous book, so we can't just flood the market with copies without knowing how many will sell or not.
So I just wanted to let you all know; no rush and no need to panic, but we did have to set a hard date on which to end preorders so we can actually print the book, and I wanted to make sure you all knew with as much prior notice as possible.
Thanks, Greg

Unless demand is high enough to justify a second printing. I mean, I have no idea how high it would have to be, but the possibility is there.

So, Greg, to be clear, the $10 discount currently runs through June 1st, will it be extended to June 30th or do you only have five days left to get $10 off.
I've already pre-ordered, but there might be others out there on a budget that might like to know.

As far as I know, the $10 discount still ends June 1st. Bill may decide to extend it, but I have not heard any word that he will. It is, of course, always possible that he will just forget to take it down. I would say don't plan on it continuing after June 1st, but if it does, by all means take advantage of it. Our tardiness is your gain in that case.

Yeah, but I control the power of the pen...er, keyboard. For instance, Pazuzu was looking at me funny, and now he's CR 3. They'll learn...the hard way or otherwise.

HAHAHH I was getting worried about paying the higher price as I have only ordered a copy of the PF version and was waiting until the first of June to order either multiples of the PF version and a S&W version or just the S&W version. Then I read the title and noticed it said June 30th and not June first. 8)

If I were you I would just check that. I ordered this a couple of days ago and the preorder ended 30 June, but the special price ended June 1.

I want to preorder this but I don't understand the shipping options.
Book description says it is a hardbound book.
Shipping choices say "Select shipping for softcover purchases only."
So what should I pick?
I was told by folks here to pick the $4.00 option for domestic shipping.
If that's incorrect, I'm sure we'll be given the option to true-up later.

I was just about to preorder this but before i do i have a question. As i click on the "Buy Now"-pathfinder version button i'm linked to a shopping cart with the product added. Under the caption "Payment instructions" are a few points, of which the first is:
1. The product is a digital good. You may download it immediately after payment.
What does that mean?

Went ahead and selected that option.
Between this and the Vampire: The Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition, I'm sinking a lot of money in preorders recently.
