I was just curious if this might be something that could be implemented. While I know its possible to go into a product discussion thread and make commentary, it might be useful to see if a number of other people had issues with a given review without looking for a discussion elsewhere beyond the review you are reading.

Or some other way of providing feedback on reviews. For instance, I saw one the other day for the PFRPG Core Rulebook where the reviewer was outraged that incorporeal creatures could be tripped, according to the rules, so he was giving it one star. He is, of course, incorrect. It'd be nice to be able to point that out for the moderators, somehow, so they could get in touch with him and correct him.

It is also likely to scare away potential reviewers who are often just presenting their own opinions. I find the propensity of certain posters to ridicule or defame the character of other posters simply because they disagree with opinions is not being helpful or creating a kind environment. It is better for the person having a different opinion to express that opinion of a particular product in a review of their own rather than posting snarky remarks in the commentary or even a thumbs up or thumbs down section in the review itself. This isn't You Tube (thank goodness).

Agreed.
That's why I'm saying an ability to point the moderators at someone would be good. The reviewer I mentioned, for instance, seems to be entirely basing his review on an incorrect interpretation of the rules. The moderators would be able to correct him so he could correct his review (or pull it).
You are 100% correct, though: if we had the ability to "reply" to reviews, every review page would become a flame war. That'd be bad.

It has been a little unfriendly in some of the threads lately. I can see this being a problem as well.

It's always good to hear that someone reads your reviews, never mind likes them... but if you have a major difference of opinion with a review, a better route is to post one of your own explaining why your opinion differs. All reviews are no more than personal opinions on the product in question, after all.

Agreed - very well put!
