Fear / Turn undead. When do they run?

Do they run immediately or do they wait until their turn?

Is it the same for fear effects as for turning undead?

Usually, the Fear effect or whatevr takes place immediatly, but they don't run until thier turn. However, other things might still happem immediatly, like dropping weapons and taking penulties.

It can, but also remember that attacking can sometimes break he Fear affects. I don't think it does for Turning, though.

I've used Command to force enemies to "run the guantlet" through therst of the party who all held actions to attack, (and get AoOs) at the same time. It ca be fun, but also very dangerous straegy.
