So my group is planning to run a game until about level 23 or 24, but one of the rules for the campaign is strict adherence to WBL whenever we gain a level. So what would the wealth be for the levels not listed on the chart in the core book? Using an exponential regression of the data points doesn't fit close enough at the upper end to really work. Is there anything published (3.5 or otherwise) that could help out?

Just round it out to an exponential. The XP table isn't true exponential in upper levels either. Doing a quick trendline, a cubic fit gives an R^2 of .9972.

There is nothing official. When I compare the two tables, Pathfinder and DnD, I find that through levels 2-20 the PCs end up with 19.65% more treasure under Pathfinder. So if you round up to 20% than what the Epic Handbook had, you should be fine.
Yep - Epic Level Handbook has a wealth by level chart going higher (but the base WBL is different in 3.5 to PF). It also has a discussion of why the formula changes post-20th.

The Epic Level Handbook's wealth guidelines don't really make any sense though, as it basically assumes that characters gain very little wealth each level once they go beyond 20th level.
Since characters are likely to face multiple classed opponents of CRs 19-20 at that point, it's not really possible to follow those guidelines (at least not without gimping the equipment of those opponents). A single Dragon's hoard will boost your PCs past several levels worth of wealth if those guidelines are followed.
I'd just continue a progression similar to the already-existing one.

Oh, we know the WBL rules don't make much sense without some stretching, but we make them work. All of our characters have side-projects going on that most of their "excess" wealth is diverted towards. Mine is building a huge library and founding a small town with the followers he gained from the Leadership feat.
