Hey all, I was cooking up some ideas for a Mordant Spire Elf. Of course, to fit the Grey Elves I'd probably want to take Spirit of the Waters and the Mordant Heritage trait. What classes do you think would be cool. I was thinking perhaps Fighter, Ranger, or even Paladin.
There would certainly be fighters and rangers. Paladins, being lawful, would be rare, but doable. They're described as being magic-heavy and scholarly as a race. Wizard would work well for that.
I was thinking Paladin for the focused-defender type of ethos. It's described that they keep a wary eye out for aboleths and their ilk, I thought mayhap Paladin would suit that sort of watch-for-evil-abomnation- and-slay-it type of attitude. Then again, there is the argument for going Ranger and picking favored enemy aberrations to symbolize this as well.
