Special house rules on Easter

Rules Questions

My group has been gaming for decades and years ago we came up with an obscure house rule when we game on Easter (we always play on sundays). If a PC dies on Easter sunday their PC is ressurected (for free). This only applies to the first PC death which is rare but does occur. Yesterday a PC narrowly avoided an assassins death attack. Saved by a protection from arrows spell.

This is not meant to be sacraligous but I wondered if any others had any similiar or obscure house rules.

Some groups have an in-game Christmas session.

Getting a cherrypicked magic item as a present is not out of the question during these games, although the real treasure is friendship.

Which reminds me, I've always wanted to run a terrifying Halloween session.

Lantern Lodge

I used to do gifts on Birthdays and Christmas, but my players begged me to stop. I think it had something to do with my gifts involving drawing from the Deck of Many Things, but I don't know. LOL.

Two or three years ago on that day, I ran a game where the party escaped from he'll without any memories of it so the devil could trick them into killing a good person.

I managed to run a special Halloween Adventure from time to time :)
