Between Paizo being down at odd intervals and my own life issues I've been a bit scarce. Sorry for that.
And it appears I have an entire page of posts to sort through. I'll try to get something posted tonight. Can't guarantee I'll be posting completely regular for a while yet, but hopefully I won't get a week-long backlog again.
Speaking of which, I should let everyone know that I will be gone on a canoe trip from tomorrow until tuesday. Anyone can feel free to run William till I get back. Looks like our fight in nearly wrapped up, good luck guys!

Not you guys, blue group. They've been bogging down my zombies and avoiding a more severe pummeling. Therefore, I release the flying monkeys.
Allied spellcaster from APG is what I was thinking, but it has a different effect than I remembered. In any case, I'm still up for it if you are.
Assuming we have the same spell known, it's +4 vs SR and +1 to caster level for things like duration, distance, etc. Pretty nice I think.
Alright, I'm back from my trip, now thoroughly sunburnt but otherwise it was great!
As far as circumventing our magic, I would say it's the only thing that saved us from the Pally's terrible rolls. Without it we would have either retreated or be dead:P
On the other hand, I fully support the flying monkey idea, William would finally have an some enemies who aren't resistant to his arrows :)

The image is both hilarious and disturbing.
Inspiration came after watching a documentary on the violence perpetrated by chimps against members of other troops. They will march into the territory of another chimp troop, look for a lone member, and attack en masse. It was indeed disturbing. There was, of course, the requisite amount of hilarity. Once the party had chased after them, killed a few and chased the rest off, poor Jimmy decided never to go out of eyesight of the camp again.
Fellers, if you've been watching the weather channel, you'll know that the entire carolina coastline is under a hurricane watch/warning. I live in Wilmington, NC and Hurricane Irene is heading our way. As long as she continues to veer east, we should be okay. But if she wiggles west, we're gonna get hammered.
We'll likely lose power - not sure for how long - but I will post on Friday night (if necessary) and then again when I can get back online.

Back in the saddle, fellers - Irene wasn't too vicious on us here in Wilmington. Power was out for about 24 hours and we lost a couple of big limbs in one of our trees, but nothing major - just a few hours of yard clean up.
Hope everyone else fared as well. How are things in NYC?
We're fine up here. I didn't even lose power. There were downed limbs in other neighborhoods, but since I live in a pretty industrial area, we didn't have any of that. Our neighbors' back yard flooded, but I think it's more from a drainage problem than massive rain.
A friend of mine posted pics of a lot of water and a couple of downed trees, but not much else.
Haven't seen Gendo in a few...if he doesn't post today I'll keep 'botting him during the pursuit.

With lay on hands and a rank in heal, I can hopefully split healer duties with Jon a little better so I don't have to be hoisted around so much.
There's that, too. I was saddened by the loss of Oroupah. Not only the main healer gone, but a great character with a lot of potential for plot hooks and all-around general fun. Still, my core group here is rockin'.

I'm glad we have a little more healing on deck now. Should keep us on our feet a little longer at least.

Apologies, apologies, and more apologies for my prolonged absence. Work and health have seriously hampered my online gaming. I posted in the game thread, but if you'd rather continue to NPC Jinjer and move on w/o me, I would certainly understand.
I'm of the opinion that the less NPCs I have to juggle, the better. You're back in time to claim your just desserts. ;)

It happens to the best of us. I've been pretty busy with uni myself, so it's well timed in any case.
Feeling a bit under the weather, folks, so I'm not really very "game on" at the moment. I'll try to post tonight or tomorrow when I'm feeling a bit better.
I may drop off in posting between Thursday and Monday this coming week since I'm heading to my friend's wedding reception at the other side of the country. Auric may be uncharacteristically quiet for a few days.
Then I suppose my modem picked an opportune time to fry. I'm offline until further notice. I'll be calling my provider first thing in the morning and hopefully they can express a new one to me, but I'll probably be incommunicado until at least Tuesday, possibly later.
So for sake of expediency, should I roll saves for PCs against enemy spell effects? So long as I have your character info on hand, it would keep combat rounds from having to delay until someone posts their save to determine effects. I'll go with a majority vote on this one. I know some gamers like to keep control over their character's fate.
I don't mind so long as you "show the math" and the die roll in the post.
For PCs, that's fine. Plus, it helps having the extra eyes to spot any potential errors...missed bonuses, etc.
