Help with the rules

Rules Questions

I have a couple of problems with the rules.

1.
The domain special power all say you have to be certain lvl to use it:

"Healer's Blessing (Su): At 6th level, all of your cure spells are treated as if they were empowered, increasing the amount of damage healed by half (+50%). This does not apply to damage dealt to undead with a cure spell. This does not stack with the Empower Spell metamagic feat."

Does this mean you have to 6 lvls of cleric or 6 lvls in general
Lvl 6 Cleric = lvl 6
LVL 3 Wizard + lvl 3 Cleric = lvl 6

2.
When using the wizards Arcane Bond ability what lvl is the minimum required to craft a +1 weapon. And again do you have to that number of wizard lvls of you can combine.
Lvl 6 Wizard = lvl 6
LVL 3 Wizard + lvl 3 Cleric = lvl 6

Hi MataKiera,

1.
Class abilities always assume levels in that class, eg if you took one level in Cleric and 11 levels in Fighter, you wouldn't gain the class abilities of a 12th-level Cleric.

So Healer's Blessing would require 6 levels of Cleric.

2.
I'm not so familiar with Arcane Bond without looking up my books, so I'll leave that for others to respond ;-)

Cheers,
DarkWhite

For Arcane Bond, you need to have the minimum level for the appropriate item creation feat. So for your +1 staff, you need Craft Arms and Armour, needing CL5 (you would need to be 5th in one spellcasting class).

MataKiera as these are general rules questions (not Society specific), they should probably go in the Rules section.

Thx for the help. Next time I will post the rules problem in the rules section.

Not a problem :)

I flagged this thread to be moved, so if you have more questions you can keep asking them on this thread... just look further up the page :)

Hi

Hope this is right place to post.

I took Heirloom Weapon (Bastard Sword) for my Magus (PFS campaign). Since these weapons grant proficiency, does this mean I don't have to take Exotic Wpn (B/Sword) to use it one handed? Or did it just grant 2H proficiency (Which Magii already have).

Thanks

With that particular bastard sword, you habe proficiency as normal, i.e. as if you had Exotic Weapon Proficiency (bastard sword).

It's not quite clear from the wording of the trait. I would count it as exotic weapon proficiency for that particular weapon, since it would otherwise be pretty weak compared to other traits.

At 3rd level right? Due to the BAB requirements?

Hi

Yep.

I've got a very nicely painted mini of the original Gandalf (a Dwarf), that the character is based on. Hence Bastard Sword, not a Great Sword.

Took the Wand thing for my arcana choice, so I can wield the sword in one hand, and use a wand the same time.

I just love Magii.......

Thanks

Cool :-) Just as a hint: You do have eschew materials, right? Because when I recall the magus correctly, you can use your weapon for somatic components, so you're cool with that. However, spell components are still required with many spells, so you need a free hand for that. Eschew materials then makes your wand and bastard sword wielding character a legal possibility.
