Humanoid (shapechanger) would only cover humanoids with the shapechanger subtype, which includes all lycanthropes and that's more or less it. I can't think of any other ones off the top of my head, but I'm pretty sure they exist somewhere.
It wouldn't allow for druids or the like, since while they have shape changing powers, they don't gain the shapechanger subtype.

huh ok, old school 1e had the +1 sword, +3 vs. lycanthropes and shapechangers specifically called out that it worked against druids. I thought "shifter's sorrow" in 3.5 had something in the write up about druids too.
