Sovereign Court Owner - Enchanted Grounds, President/Owner - Enchanted Grounds

I started this thread yesterday in the Kingmaker forum. After getting no responses, I started this thread in the general forums.

I think the questions are pretty general, and speak to peoples' memories. I also toned each thread specifically for the forums they appeared in (noting "Kingmaker spoilers" in the general thread).

So, my question: why move the second thread? I was after a different group of peoples' opinions. Now there are two threads in the Kingmaker forums with the same title, and both will get attention from the same people, without any of the more general users seeing it (what I was after with the second thread). I'm a little put out and feel this was handled a little callously.

Maybe because you sprinkled Kingmaker all over the thread and asked for kingmaker specific suggestions?

"The problem: everything that resonates with me has no real application to Kingmaker."

It's also a bit rude to spam the forums with the same thread using slightly different topics. I'm not a Paizoan but I'd have flagged it 'wrong forum' if I'd seen it.

I know it's rude. That's why I tried to keep it more general up here. Guess I did that incorrectly and will be more circumspect in the future.

As for referencing APs, I think people reference stuff in general forums all the time. "Will this character work in [insert AP/module/PFS situation here]?" Those never get moved. And shouldn't. That's a player and/or GM asking for the opinions of other people who aren't necessarily doing those things.

I moved your thread because it seemed that it more appropraitely belonged in the Kingmaker forum. Had I been aware that it was a duplicate thread at the time, I would have locked it with a note redirecting people to the original thread instead.

The reason "Would this character work in X AP" don't always get moved (and they do sometimes) is twofold. First, since the player doesn't control the events of the AP, such threads really are often about general character effectiveness. Second, the AP-specific forms are riddled with spoilers (and we don't require spoiler tags in them, because requiring them would mean 90% of discussion would be spoilered), which some players seek to avoid.

Fair enough. Sorry to have caused trouble. Next time I will demonstrate more patience and, if I wind up asking a similar question in another forum, make sure it's different enough to not cause issues.

Thanks for the attention.
