Hi, during the last session, I played a LG cleric of Torag and wished to cast « chaos hamer » against an LE outsider. My GM said to me that it’s not possible because I’m LG and not chaotic and the only spell that I can cast was « order’s wrath ». According to me, even if I’m a LG caracter, I can cast « chaos hammer » (whereas it’s a shool evocation chaotic spell). Who had right ?
Jus to clarify the spell (chaos hammer), it hurts Lawful and neutral creatures, but why does it say (at the end of the description of the spell) that neutral creatures take only half damage ?

Your DM was right:
"Chaotic, Evil, Good, and Lawful Spells: A cleric can't cast spells of an alignment opposed to her own or her deity's (if she has one). Spells associated with particular alignments are indicated by the chaotic, evil, good, and lawful descriptors in their spell descriptions."
Chaos Hammer is evocation [chaotic].

Because all the spell of the alignment hammer* type do half damage and no special effect against people that aren't of the opposite alignment (before the ST to halve it) and no damage against people of the same alignment of the hammer.
*Chaos hammer, Holy smite, Order wrath, Unholy blight
So Chaos hammer (before ST) -> full damage and special effect against lawful targets -> half damage e no special effect against targets that aren't lawful or chaotic -> no damage against chaotic targets

Torag is LG so he will not grant chaotic or evil spells. Next time pray for Holy smite.
