I'm playing a fighter that has a pet lizard. He is about to reach level 7 and has commissioned a set of mw spiked full plate to be made. He is also having a matching set made for his pet lizard, which is like a big iguana or something and I can't find stats for such a critter. The stats for lizard under familiar seem like stats for small lizards and under lizards are medium sized lizards. Any suggestions on where to look?
Just to be clear this lizard is just for rp purposes, I have no intention of him entering combat, but if something were to happen I'd just like to have the relevant stats handy.

You seem to have a word missing from this sentence. Are you looking for a small or a medium-sized lizard? If small, I'd recommend advancing the normally tiny Common Lizard using the Giant template. If medium, use the stats for the monitor lizard listed under Summon Monster III. That one could get tricky to not use as a combatant at your level, since he can deal 3d6+9 and poison and grab. But if your DM is cool with it, it's all good.
If you're looking for a large critter, advance the monitor lizard. Definitely make sure your DM is cool with that one!
Good luck!

What he said. This seems like your ideal solution for a lizard that is larger than a gecko, but smaller than a komodo dragon.
I'd avoid going in the other direction and 'Young' templating a monitor lizard. That ends up with stats that are, IMO, a little 'too good' for a flavor pet like this.

As a DM, I would think the easiest thing to do would be to just make it a Druid pet and advance it as the Monitor Lizard for a Druid. Maybe make him level-3 like a Ranger to make him less desirable in combat. Still, if you promised to use it sparingly, I'd probably allow full level. It wouldn't be game breaking or anything.
