Hey everyone,
I'm quite new to the Pathfinder game. I have been looking around and have found that quite some people find that the APG trows off the balans of the game.
I don't have a good view on this. What do you all think?
I also have a question.
One of my players wants to use a agile armor. What are your thoughts on this?
Is agile armor a thing that might trow off balance in my game?
Thanks for your thoughts!

Hello and welcome!
I don't want to sound cynical about what you might have read but please don't take anything you simply read on here as granted. These are forums, and there will (As anywhere) be a large variety and divergence of opinions, so keep that in mind. Personally I subscribe to the school of thought that says that the correct balance for any given thing lies somewhere roughly in the middle of both extremes. To that extent I would advise you that while ANY new content brought into a game will invariably change the balance of the system, the APG does very little to "unbalance" the game.
There are good options available for characters and NPC's alike in the APG, and there are awful ones too. The majority of the design decisions that went into the book were done as thematic choices, and IMO the new rules have been kept very tight and have been well handled. As with any system there will be exploits but the majority of those have more to do with the nature of any roleplaying system than a book like the APG.
As far as the agile armor question goes I don't see any problem with letting them use it. All it does is lower the ACP for checks to jump and climb by 3. That may seem like a lot but keep in mind they are paying either 200g extra for the property on a brestplate, or 250g on half-plate. These ARE the only two armors that it comes on, and in that respect it is not so much an enhancement to suit of armor as it is a specific rarer, more expensive version of those kinds of armor.
Hope this helped some, and don't fear the forums, we're mostly friendly :D
