Or those that actually have been around a bit, a piece of bad news his the community a few days back and I thought I'd post this to here. Jolly and Barbara Blackburn, one of the founding families that makes the print magazine monthly, have just been hit by a massive emotional blow.

Their daughter, Amber, was in the hospital a few nights back, as seen in this thread. Sadly, she perished. I know that some of you don't get into K&C stuff, but for those that know what type of hell a gazebo can give a party, these people are part the big community of gamers. I would like to think that most of you are aware of this sad event already, but if you haven't, please drop a line here or to Jolly or Barbara on facebook.

I was just reading the latest issue of KoDT yesterday. That is terrible news. Jolly's wife had written the intro column this month and was talking a bit of nice mushy stuff about him and it was very sweet. This is a very sad counterpoint.

My son was in the ICU and hospital for two weeks after he was born, so I know a little taste of the pain that can come with a child in dire straits, but this is so much worse. :(

All the best to the Blackburn family.

Tragic news indeed. My thoughts and condolences for their loss.

Condolences and Prayers to the Family.

That's just awful. I've been a fan of KoDT for years, ever since they started running regular strips in Dragon. Here's hoping the family gets the support they need.
