Are kukri a type of dagger?
EDIT: curved knife made popular by the Gurkha also, seen alot in different Hollywood action movies. I would not put it in a real world Dagger catagory, because it is used with a chopping or slashing motion. Daggers are usually used for piercing/stabbing motions.

Yes and no.
They have an inward curving blade (rather than the outward curve of say a Scimitar) with the sharpened edge on the inward curve. They are a slashing weapon as opposed to the primarily piercing nature of the Dagger.
Edit: Damn. Ninja'd twice over with the same article! :)
We umbral dragons are surprisingly stealthy for our size.
In regards to the article, it actually says that the curve of the blade actually helps facilitate stabbing attacks.

Awesome huh
Google khukri house and you will see a full variety and what military issue ones are like
That is where I picked up mine. Amazing weapon, the bane of many a tree branch (My father has very wild property, and when I visit, it allows for a chance to actually use it), as well as a powerful destroyer of watermelons. I also slay coconuts with mine...and I killed a DVD player that had decided to die with one of my DVDs in it..
