Spending Ki

Rules Questions

Can you spend more than 1 Ki as a swift action?

For example, could you spend 3 Ki to gain +4 AC, +20ft movement & an additional attack ?

or

Spend 2 Ki to gain +8 AC ?

Thanks in advance

Scarab Sages

A monk can activate one of those abilities as a swift action. If any sources provide ki abilities that consume more than one ki point, that is the exception to spending 1 ki point as a swift action.

You can only spend ki in the amounts specified and as the action type specified in the abilities. So you can't spend more than one ki to activate one of the basic ki pool abilities, because they say you spend one ki as a swift action. You can spend one ki as a swift action for AC, 2 ki as a standard action to use wholeness of body, and 2 ki as a move action to use abundant step. If you're a monk of the four winds, you can spend 6 points as a swift action, but only to activate your slow time ability.

So no, you can't stack the swift-action bonuses.
