What kind of Cleric do you want? A front-line warrior? A casting specialist? An Archer? I mean, these all build very differently.
And what race and diety would you prefer?
Any, I just wanted a cleric build for a quick adventure last night. I ended up with a Human (Chelaxian) and chose Abadar as the deity.
S 14 Dex 10 Con 12 Int 8 Wis 17 (modified) Ch 13
I went mace shield and Chain
I took Child of the Temple: Knowledge Nobility
Extra Channel
Eyes and Ears of the City
Turn Undead and Selective Channeling
Domains: Travel and Defense
He is level 3
Primary purpose, assist in combat with some melee and as the parties only healer the ability to heal at range.
This is my first cleric build in PFRPG
Still havent decided if Turn Undead was the best choice but I heard CoT had undead.
Any suggested changes?

I need help on a Cleric build.
Council of Thieves.
replacing a character which just hit level 3
16,15,14,12,10,8 are the scores used
Core/APG/and CoT guide only
we use traits.
Any suggestions?

Human Cleric (Abadar) 3
12 Str, 15 Dex, 10 Con, 8 Int, 18 Wis (+2 race), 14 Cha if using the original set12 Str, 13 Dex, 10 Con, 8 Int, 17 Wis (+2 race), 14 Cha if using the second set
With an 8 Int, even a human will not have enough skill ranks to make taking two skill booster traits a good idea IMO. Pick either Child of the Temple or Eyes and Ears of the City, not both (you won't be able to invest the ranks in both Knowledge (Nobility) and Perception to make it worthwhile). Birthmark is a good replacement choice for a cleric (always have a divine focus).
Featwise, I think you should drop Extra Channel and Turn Undead for Point Blank Shot and Reach Spell. Council of Thieves is an urban campaign; most cities don't have hordes of undead. Selective Channeling is still useful to heal multiple party members while not heailing their opponents. Point Blank Shot is useful for your crossbow (Abadar's favored weapon) as well as all of your touch spells modified into ranged touch spells with Reach Spell metamagic.

Thank you. That was precisely the type of help I was looking for. I took the 'skill' traits because sadly it seems in this particular group/dm it seems skills are ignored or DCs fabricated outlandishly with the exception of Perception and knowledge checks.
I look around the corner
Roll perception
12
You don't see anything
(Someone else)
Rounds corner, rolls a 16
DM- "You see a door"
Me- Seriously?
Looking thru what I can online (no books with me at work) I think I will drop turning and take point blank. I can't bring myself to drop selective channel though. Cha 13 and that feat were why the character was made. Ranged healer without meta magic.
