How to prevent scrying.

Advice

The Exchange

I have never been into the double digit levels before and we are now worried about scrying attempts.

We're playing Kingmaker and looking for ways to protect our council chamber from unwanted eyes.

I have found the spell Detect Scrying and that looks pretty cool. But I was wondering if there were other ways, like making the room itself permanently protected.

Advice please.

Scarab Sages

Nondetection

Mind Blank

Obscure Object

Mage's Private Sanctum (Ideal for covering a room in magic block)

Spell Immunity

Amulet of Proof Against Detection and Location

Ring of Counterspells

Just to name a few.

Make your council chamber a Mage's Magnificent Mansion. That way, only you and your friends can enter it and non-planar divinations all fail against it.

Alternatively, just use Mage's Private Sanctum (or both!).

I also recommend casting Detect Scrying, Mind Blank, and Spell Turning everyone. That way you are individually immune to scry effects (among other things) and should someone attempt it, you can turn around and scry them in return with their own spell.

Similar in question but what are the divine spells that stop scrying? I couldn't find any.

Scarab Sages

Spell Immunity (and Greater) were the only ones that jumped out at me as I was browsing the PRD earlier.

sandwich lead into the walls, ceiling, floor and door with lead. When the door is closed it will essentially make a lead cube. Lead blocks scrying. You can use magic too, but this is a low level cheap method to keep scrying out of any building. I incoroprate the mechanic into any important buildings.

Line the room in lead. Cheapest, easiest, most foolproof, and best means of stopping scrying.

Just have it built into the walls themselves... you don't even need that much.

I would also suggest having this done for your bedchambers, your vaults, your prison, and your stockroom.
