I have been watching Hercules and Xena on Netflix lately.
And this has inspired me.
How would one go about setting up a Herc/Xena-esque campaign?
I am not looking to run Herc, Xena, Iolus, And Gaby in a game.
But a group on par to them. (perhaps "god" touched characters)
I am aware that a game of this nature has the potential to become OverPowered quickly.
Hence the reason I am asking for advice.

You could always use the Sorcerer Bloodlines and change them into 'god bloodlines' altering the traits and abilities to fit particular deities. That would keep the setting from becoming too overpowering. Alternatively, if you want them to become demigods eventually, you could have increasingly epic encounters - fights against the children of enemy gods or of primordial beings who once ruled the world and now seek power again...

Consider the Genius Guide to the Godling and Mystic Godling?
If wanting to use normal stuff, consider a very generous point buy.
Gestalting classes would assist in the "larger then life" feel.
OR simply start the PC's higher then normal level, and make sure that only monsters and "evil champions" are above them in actual level.

well eventually I planned on them doing that type of thing anyway.
The vision I have is of characters who for some reason or another (half-god, "chosen," etc...) cannot keep the "gods" from "interfering" in their lives.| Damian Magecraft |

By gestalting I assume you mean take 2 or more classes and combine them (giving the best of both).
The idea intrigues me to a point. (I had considered something like this once for the sorcerer and the wizard.)| Indagare |

Hmm, well what is the setting going to be like overall? How commonly do the "gods" have children with mortals? Are you going to base it on any real mythology (Greek would be great since Zeus was a known philanderer)? If the "gods" are "interfering" why are they doing so? Is something bigger going on or do they worry their half-breed children could some day usurp them?

more brainstorming.
After character creation, give the PC's in question additional +2 to all stats, or +2 to all saves, and/or both.
Consider Max hit points per die.
Consider giving immunity to something.
-Child of Prometheus, gets resist fire or fire immunity. etc.
(again, i think the genius guides handle the concept fine if you want them to balance against existing classes/power levels while going for the flavor you wish for.)

Well since I have studied most mythologies; I intended to use them. All of them. Greek & Roman (with a bitter feud between them), Egyptian, Gaelic, Norse, Sumerian, Myan & Aztec (feud here too), Persian, as well as the Vedas and Brahman myths.
As to why they interfere?
Well they are often portrayed as petty, jealous, etc...
Basically they are nothing more than us with "great power."
Many of the adventures I have in mind will have their "tongue-in-cheek" moments if not down right campy bits. (as I said my inspiration is Herc and Xena).

I'll echo Rathendar here and say the Genius Guides to the Godling and Mystic Godling are likely what you are looking for, and are balanced with the PF RPG Core stuff. (And at 2.99 each for PDFs... you can't really beat it). :)
Otherwise a lot of the other suggestions posted above aren't bad either.

Money is a bit tight right now... I only have the Core and APG (with access to the beastiary from one of the players). And I have to wait for the Core and APG (as they were just ordered... [had to wait til I could afford them]).
I have been toying around with idea of an array (18,17,16,15,14,13) for the players (with a modified variant for the gods plus "special powers").
It is getting the characters to the right level (giants among mortals) without going overboard that I cannot seem to grasp at the moment.

Run a high level campaign with no/few magic items.
Have your players "buy" bonuses equivalent to magic items. Your fighter has a +6 strength because he's zeus' grandson, the ranger has the "eyes of the eagle" because he's related to appollo etc.
Yeah magic Items themselves were gonna be rare. And typically Artifact in nature. (and always requiring destruction).
I like the Idea of "buying" special "traits/talents."
I will have to think on this one.
