So we have been playing with pistol whip = free and 1 grit = chance to knock down. but never ran across the chance to use it.
During last nights game session, the group was beset upon by a giant velociraptor and his normal sized cronies. (We used T-rex stats for the enormous raptor)
One raptor decided to charge and pounce, it's way in it triggered AoOs from it's intended target, the ronin, and the adjacent gunslinger (because we are playing pistol whip = being armed with clubs as far melee goes) the raptor sails in and get clocked for 8 by the gunslinger with a pistol back hand and spent a grit to get a free trip attempt which works, pow!
Knocked the raptor down and thwarted his pounce completely, the Ronin got his AoO on a prone raptor.
It was great, fun, exciting and a woohoo moment.
I know the actual rules don't work like this atm, but they should! That was fun!

Nah the T-rex/mega raptor stole all the glory my chewing up the magus and spitting him 20 feet into the trees.
