Minor spell expertise and domain spells

Rules Questions

With being able to choose one of my first levels spells as a spell like ability to cast twice a day. Could I choose say barkskin from my domain spell and gain that as an ability?

I'm doubting that barkskin is a first level spell for you.

True, forgot its second :), So instead I take entangle but does it work? Is mostly what I'm after.

I'd like to resuscitate this thread, as I'm not finding a clear answer anywhere, and RAW is sufficiently unclear.

Some domains grant spells that are not on the cleric's regular list of spells. These spells, as a result, can only be prepared in her domain spell slot.

Minor spell expertise requires that you choose 1 first-level spell that you know.

Do you know a first level domain spell if it isn't on the list of cleric's spells and can only be prepared in a domain slot?

I have been told that I need this answered in a FAQ or by a forum post from a senior Paizo staff member in order to fix what I believe is a bug in a software product that I enjoy greatly and use for my character generation.

Thanks for any answers or faq votes!

Personally I believe that you could use this feat to cast spells from the cleric Domain spell list.

However there is a part of the Feat that makes it useless for non-cleric spells, as far as I can see.

"The caster level for this spell-like ability is equal to your caster level in the class from whose spell list the spell is taken."

So using it for Burning Hands from the Fire Domain, for example, would be entirely useless.
