Ranger's Hunter's Bond Ability Question

Rules Questions

Liberty's Edge

Hunter's (Companion) Bond has a time limit based on Wisdom, okay. But we'd like clarification on how many times a combat/day/etc it can be done.

I read it as open to as many times as the Ranger wants, so long as he spends the Move Action to activate it.

This is correct?

Yes you are correct.
The ability is pretty limiting itself (since it requires a move action to activate), why do you think it should have more restrictions?

Liberty's Edge

I didn't, really.

One of my players did. At 10th level, the character is giving the group +3 to everyone against an enemy. That's no small bonus for a mere move action cost.

No it's not, because the ranger won't be full attacking this turn, this means a lot less damage and he will have to repeat the proccess in (most likely) 2 rounds, so i don't think that the damage output this ability will bring is going to be more than the ranger would bring if he had full attacked one more time. I am not saying it's not a good ability (especially if someone doesn't want to take an animal companion) but it's nothing to be afraid of.
