Beguiling Gift + Manacles

Rules Questions

Can you give a set of manacles to someone you just cast `Beguiling Gift`? Will they put it on?

All my witches use that tactic!

Considering you could give them a vial of drow poison (sleepytime) or a poisonous cloak (4d6 con damage) I don't see how this is any worse.

One of my goals as a Witch (before I died) was to make a Helm of Opposite Alignment and make the Paladin in the party put it on.

On its next turn, it consumes or dons the object, as appropriate for the item in question. For example, an apple would be eaten, a potion consumed, a ring put on a finger, and a sword wielded in a free hand.

It would don them. Seems perfectly fine to me. Good tactic.

Nice!

Also, try the Manacles of Cooperation from the APG- victim never tries to escape and obeys any reasonable command unless it passes a will save!

I played in a 3.5/ PF game once where the party bard's whole goal in life was to put his Belt of Opposite Gender on anyone and everyone he could. Much hilarity ensued.
